Education for your child is important and regular attendance at school is essential for your child to achieve their educational best. Zaneivy School work in partnership with parents to encourage and support regular attendance of children and young people. When your child attends school every day, learning becomes easier and your child will build and maintain friendships with other children. Zaneivy School depends on parents to support and assist the school. Parents are encouraged to contribute a number of hours a term towards helping around the school, which could include working on a maintenance day, making new curtains, helping in the classroom or being on a subcommittee, depending on parents’ skills and interests.
The Enrolment Process
The first step towards possible enrolment begins with attendance at one of our Information Sessions. We run these meetings once a term throughout the year. For families that are interested in enrolling their child in Zaneivy School, we ask that you download and complete an expression of interest form. Once completed please email it back to our Director. You will receive an email response from her within five working days, acknowledging receipt of your completed form. Please note that completing an expression of interest form does not guarantee your child a place in the preschool.
The enrolment process for positions in Zaneivy School begins in August/September of each year for the start of the following year. Offers are also made throughout the year when vacancies arise. It is mandatory that you have attended an information sessions before the process of enrolment can commence.
In addition, we have a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Integrated Study focus that we encourage young minds to participate in.
